普洛托斯酒莊BODEGAS  PROTOS

「Protos」，取自於希臘文中代表First(第一)的字義。
西元1927年，一群Ribera當地的葡萄農，集結他們對這片土地的熱愛，建立了普洛托斯酒莊。西元1929年在巴塞隆納舉辦的世界博覽會上，普洛托斯葡萄酒榮獲多面的金牌殊榮，奠定國際水準上的地位。普洛托斯有三個釀酒廠，Penafiel(Valladolide)和Anguix(Burgos)位在Ribera del Duero D.O.，生產最有名的Crianza和陳年等級葡萄酒。傳統的Castillian風格建築，設置足夠處理一百萬公升葡萄的不銹鋼桶、裝瓶設備、橡木桶存放區、行政管理區、機械設備以及污水處理設備。普洛托斯酒莊所使用的葡萄來自於一百公頃的自有葡萄園、合作夥伴，以及三百多位固定配合的葡萄農。100%人工採收，只有完全健康、形狀最完整的葡萄串才能被使用。「品質至上」是普洛托斯酒莊的唯一指導哲學，普洛托斯研發出一套獨特的RDI程序，從葡萄的生長到製酒，以及橡木桶的挑選，都由技師及專家全程監控品質。現在，普洛托斯已遍及全世界五大洲75國。

Protos, which comes from the Greek word for "FIRST", has the pride and the privilege of having found maturity and ease in the best and the foremost of the wineries in the area and of having been a recognized trademark all this time.
In 1927, boldness and the love a group of local vine growers felt for the land achieved the union of their best efforts, creating the Winery, the Foremost in the Ribera. A project for the future that has not only reached our days intact, it has grown and multiplies year by year and has taken its name proudly to the highest international levels. Protos now has about 100 hectares of its own vineyards. In addition, it is supplied by some 500 hectares belonging to its associates, as well as approximately 300 more from wine-growers in the area who have become regular suppliers.
Harvesting is 100% manual. Since 2001, half of the production is gathered in 20-kilo boxes; the grapes are then spread over sorting tables. This allows us to observe the grapes bunch by bunch and to select the best, so that only completely healthy, whole grapes reach the fermentation tanks.
The unique R+D+I programme Protos has today is used to improve, even more, the quality of its wines.Now, Provincetown Santos has 75 countries on five continents throughout the world.
