Over last years, I have made wine for my family ad for many other wineries in Argentina and around the world. I am pround to offer the best of what I can produces under my signature label. This Malbec (95%) & Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) was grown at over 1,000metres elevation in high desert vineyards in Mendoza's Agrelo district and was aged in 80%New French and 20% second year French oak barrels for 13 months. It is a wine that expresses all the complexity, elegance and enjoyment that Argentina Malbec can ofer.

    普萊塔酒莊 DOMINIO DEL PLATA

    Dominio del Plata普萊塔酒莊創立於2001年，是一個年輕具有無窮潛力的的酒莊。它是現任主人Pedro Marchevsky 和Susana Balbo一生對栽培葡萄和釀製葡萄酒的熱愛和奉獻的結晶。Pedro Marchevsky 是知名的阿根廷管理高品質葡萄園經驗最豐富的專家，他發展了一種葡萄生長理論，稱之為“精密葡萄栽培術”，是一個以讓每一種葡萄品種結果達到最完美狀態為目的栽培方法。這個技術不斷的被應用在每個品種和每種不同結構的土壤。以取得最完美的葡萄果實和釀造出最有深度的葡萄酒。Susana Balbo 是阿根廷認定最有名的女性釀酒師。畢生致力於釀造高優質葡萄酒。1995年和Pedro Marchevsky結為連理，兩人決定開始往打造屬於自己的葡萄酒莊的道路大步邁進。一開始和義大利知名的釀酒師Alberto Antonini 合作釀造以出口為主的葡萄酒，同時也為阿根廷之名Altos Las Hormigas 酒莊釀造第一個年份的葡萄酒。她的創業、創新和革新的精神讓她釀造出來的葡萄酒有著無比獨特的風格和超高品質，也讓她本人獲得國際的認可和尊重。她是第一個被歐洲酒廠聘請為顧問去提昇歐洲葡萄酒品質的阿根廷籍釀酒師。1999年，Pedro Marchevsky 和Susana Balbo 認為時機已成熟，該是時候自立門戶，於是開始向其他酒廠租用釀酒設備釀造屬於他們自己的酒。他們的努力工作和持續穩定的成長讓他們在2001年決定在Mendoza 產區內的法定產區Lujan de Cuyo的副產區Agrelo的核心建造屬於自己的酒莊：Dominio del Plata普拉塔酒莊。Dominio del Plata 普拉塔酒莊就坐落在他們擁有的21公頃，種植著Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc和Petit Verdot的葡萄園的中央。這是一個年輕卻具有無窮潛力的酒莊，擁有最先進的技術和配備，不僅是一個釀造高優質葡萄酒的酒廠，也是Pedro 和Susana的家，他們一起創造美好未來的中心點。

    Dominio del Plata is, quite simply, one of the wonders of the modern winemaking world. Rarely will you find a winery and vineyard set in more breathtaking surroundings – the snow-capped Andes loom over the place with an almost god-like air of approval. This is a cathedral to wine, stunningly designed in a way that combines utter exactitude with a true sense of organic charm. From the painstakingly tended rows of vines like marching armies of well-disciplined disciples, to the warmth and homeliness of the winery itself, you can’t help but fall in love with the place.
    All of this was, of course, the brain-child of enologist extraordinaire, Susana Balbo. Susana, South America’s first woman winemaker, has been an inspiration for many over the years, with her drive and passion for wine and the wine business globally.
