In order to shape the tradition of innovation, Piccini was launched in 2000 the orange wine label wines, to emphasize passionate style, hosts many parties to interact with fans, also frequently honored brewing more than 90 points of the top wines.
TENUTA VALIANO
Named after the Latin term for “valor”, this prestigious estate is located in Castelnuovo Berardenga, on the southern side of the Chianti Classico zone. In the 1960’s the land was owned by the President of the Italian Republic Gioavanni Gronchi, and now it belongs to the Piccini Family, who acquired the property in 1995.
The Valiano estate covers a total surface of 230 hectares, of which 70 hectares are dedicated to specialized vineyards. The varieties cultivated are mainly Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Chardonnay.
The vineyards are located at 400m asl, in perfect harmony with the soil typology (clayey and rocky soil with excellent natural drainage). The particular position of the vineyards, the soil and the climate contribute to create the perfect conditions for producing excellent quality wines.
The entire winemaking process, aging and bottling takes place on the estate.
