Maquis Lien was the first wine produced by Viña Maquis since 2003. A red blend made from our own grapes produced in the same place where is bottled. Its components changes depending on the vintage of each year, maintaining over time an exceptional balance and elegance, a true reflection of the expression of its terroir. Maquis Lien 2019 has a base formed by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, achieving complexity and structure, being the skeleton of the wine, which together with the Carmenere achieves its softness and elegance in this version of Maquis Lien 2019

瑪吉斯酒莊 VINA MAQUIS
Viña Maquis座落在首都聖地牙哥南方偏東100多公里外的Colchagua Valley。自十八世紀起，這裡就一直與高級葡萄酒的生產聯繫在一起，當時由耶穌會教士所開闢；在十九世紀，則是由兩位智利總統所擁有。1916年這個莊園被希望發展精品葡萄酒的Hurtado家族收購，並擁有至今。2002年Hurtado家族建造了全新的酒莊，其設計既可以促進葡萄酒生產，又可以用最清晰的方式表達葡萄的風土特色；並且聘請到波爾多大師級釀酒顧問Boissenot 父子來指導。本酒莊大部分的釀造工作都是以人工完成的，由充滿熱情和專業的團隊來達到的本酒莊所追求的極致品質。
其葡萄園是在Colchagua谷地裡的精華區，位於兩條河流之間的獨特風土，有相對較涼爽的特色，因而得以產出細緻高雅的酒質。在慎重評估過葡萄園的各項條件之後，慎選最合適的品種來種植；目前117公頃的葡萄園種植的品種有： Cabernet Franc、 Cabernet Sauvignon、Carmenère。Maquis被葡萄酒媒體讚譽為智利最好的Cabernet Franc生產者，旗艦酒款已經是透過波爾多的全球分銷系統發進的頂級銘釀。
Maquis is one of the oldest wineries in the Colchagua Valley and has been owned by the Hurtado family for four generations.
Viña Maquis has been associated with the production of noble wine grapes since the XVIII century when it belonged to the Jesuit priests.
During the XIX century, Maquis was owned by two Chilean presidents who felt proud of their property, organized some cabinet meetings in Colchagua, and built brick bridges for their ministers to come. Remains of these old bridges are still present on the Maquis Estate.
In 1916, Maquis was bought by the Hurtado family who wished to develop a fine wine business.
The building was one of the first to be made of concrete in Chile. It was built in 1927 by the then-owner and engineer Ignacio Hurtado when he was 23 years old, right after leaving engineering school.
In 2002, after several years of refining the management of the vineyards, the Hurtado family built a new winery designed both to facilitate wine production and to enable the expression of the characteristics and personality of the grapes in the clearest way possible.
Much of the work is done using artisanal methods because for many stages of the winemaking process, even today, no machinery can provide the degree of quality and care achieved by a passionate and professional team.
