Max, named in honor of our founder, Don Maximiano Errázuriz, reflects the in-depth exploration carried out by Viña Errázuriz in the Aconcagua Valley and in other valleys, some of which are the best and most recognized valleys in Chile for producing each of the varieties that are sourced for these wines. As a result, these wines stand out for their finesse, elegance, freshness and delicious acidity, and as a result it reflects each one of the valleys from where they come from.

伊拉蘇酒廠 ERRAZURIZ
伊拉蘇酒廠創立於西元1870年，其優異的釀酒傳統早已成為智利葡萄酒最具代表性家族。伊拉蘇家族成員也曾擔任智利二任總統，在智利極具聲望。為紀念創始人而命名之葡萄園Don Maximiano Estate，位於首都聖地牙哥北邊100公里Aconcagua Valley產區，生產整個家族最重要的紅酒，包括Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva Merlot Reserva及酒廠旗艦級“Don Maximiano”。自1991年酒廠也開始嘗試種植Merlot，Cabernet Franc，Syrah，Sangiovese及Nebbiolo等品種。除了主要葡萄品種Cabernet Sauvignon，Chardonnay及Sauvignon Blanc以外，酒廠主人Eduardo Chadwick先生除了依循傳統，更嚴格要求每個過程及細節以保持葡萄酒的高品質外，亦不斷進行改革工作。1996更進一步與聞名全球的加州葡萄酒教父Robert Mondavi建立技術合作，創建Sena桑雅酒廠及Caliterra卡瑞泰拉酒廠，為智利葡萄酒樹立新世紀典範。智利從原本只生產內銷葡萄酒，而今日智利己躍升為國際性葡萄酒生產國，也建立了屬於自己的頂級酒風範，而其中伊拉蘇酒莊更被譽為【智利之最】。
Don Maximiano Errazuriz founded EL Errazuriz in 1870 in the Aconcagua Valley, 100 kms North of the Capital, Santiago. Errazuriz's philosophy is best expressed by Don Maximiano who said, "From the best land, the best wine". Today, the tradition of quality lives on with Don Maximiano's descendant, Eduardo Chadwick. Eduardo is the sixth generation of his family to be involved in the wine business.Eduardo has overseen the modernisation of the winemaking technology at this historic estate while maintaining a distinct identity for its wines. Dedicated to producing estate grown wines of superior quality, Errazuriz has built a reputation as the "Best of Chile". In 1995, Eduardo formed a partnership with Robert Mondavi and his Napa family in California with the desire of creating a Chilean wine to rival the world top wines.
