Vistamare vineyards are located on a beautiful hillside overlooking the Tyrrhenian coast, enjoying the perfect amount of sunshine and intoxicating sea breezes. The resulting wines are elegant and fresh. There was a harsh winter with a lot of rain in winter, but fortunately the grape losses were very small that year. Fortunately, there was a fresh northwest wind in the summer, which allowed the grapes to mature slowly in good condition and finally age in stainless steel and oak barrels. Showing freshness and liveliness. The rich aroma exudes vivid tropical fruits, apricots and peaches, accompanied by floral notes of yellow flowers, lemongrass and chamomile, with hints of Mediterranean herbs such as rosemary and a slightly smoky tone. The distinct seascape character comes with a unique salty aftertaste, making the acidity and taste very balanced and delicious.

    卡瑪康達酒廠 CA’MARCANDA

    1996年,歌雅酒廠(GAJA)的Angelo Gaja於托斯卡尼(Tuscana)買下了第二塊產業:卡瑪康達酒廠(Ca ’Marcanda)。位於寶格麗(Bolgheri)Castagneto Carducci的卡瑪康達,主要專注於以國際品種的釀造。葡萄園占地約60.7公頃,以卡本內蘇維濃(Cabernet Sauvignon)、梅洛(Merlot)、卡本內弗朗(Cabernet Franc),和希哈(Syrah)為主。

    對於國際潮流向來抱持開放心胸的Gaja,早在1970年全面掌管歌雅酒莊時,便想要另外找一塊更適合種植國際品種葡萄酒的產業。他選定的地點寶格麗,位於托斯卡尼靠海的省分Livorno,當時以海邊料理和旅遊聞名,對於釀酒這塊倒是較少人著墨。此區最初開始因釀酒得名,是拜超級托斯卡尼(Super Tuscan)Sassicaia的卡本內蘇維濃所賜。這裡因靠海,氣候較托斯卡尼中部的丘陵地來得溫和,葡萄也成熟得較早,在秋雨降下之前已經可以採收。
    此區的DOC紅酒主要以卡本內和梅洛為主,也可以添加至多50%的聖酒維瑟(Sangiovese)。由於此區的微型氣候和風土有利於波爾多品種的生長,大部分的酒莊——包括卡瑪康達酒廠在內,都以經典波爾多品種為主,並於法國小橡木桶(Barrique)培養。

    雖然尋覓了多年,終於找到卡瑪康達酒廠這塊產業,Gaja卻經歷了多年的談判與協調,才終於在1996年正式獲得卡瑪康達酒廠。事實上,為了獲得這塊產業,他總共造訪了足足十八次,也因此將酒廠命名為「談判協商之家」(Ca在皮蒙區方言有家之意,Marcandè則有談判協商之意)。但獲得了該產業後,Gaja又花費了六年的時間,請建築師Giovanni Bo為酒廠打造出最先進的釀酒廠房,這才終於正式啟用酒廠。如同寶格麗本身豐富的土壤組成,卡瑪康達的葡萄園也各有不同的土質,主要可被區分為名為Terre Brune的棕色土壤,與相當令當地釀酒人垂涎的Terre Bianche白色土壤。酒莊的Promis與Magari兩款紅酒的葡萄來自於礦物質豐富的Terre Brune,因此酒款的單寧架構較為明顯,個性也更鮮明。酒廠的旗艦酒款Camarcanda則選用來自於Terre Bianche土壤的葡萄園果實,因來自豐富的石灰質黏土,陳年潛力尤佳。

    Ca ’Marcanda, winery of the Gaja family, is located in Castagneto Carducci in the upper Tuscan Maremma, one of the most dynamic Italian wine areas. The name "Ca 'Marcanda" derives from a Piedmontese dialectal expression that refers to the long negotiations conducted by Angelo Gaja to convince the previous owners to sell the company, previously destined to olive grove, orchard, cattle breeding and to a small extent to vineyard. The property is characterized by two distinct types of land: brown lands, with a prevalence of sand and clay, and pale earth, with prevalence of silt and clay, rich in limestone and skeleton. The hot summer days, refreshed by the sea breeze, and the warm nights, create an ideal climate for Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Sangiovese. As in the native Piedmont, Angelo Gaja's goal is to produce wines that reflect the distinctive and unique qualities of the territory.
